Teach Soap

Hi everyone,

My sister-in-law is coming to visit in a few weeks and wants to make a batch of soap together. I directed her to a few soap supply sites to get her creative juices flowing and she is, of course, having a ball looking at all the possibilities! She asked me which fragrance oil would be best for her love of "Clean cotton, Downy, etc". Do you guys have any recommendations of FOs that match this description in real life? Sometimes the descriptions online are not entirely accurate and on point. Anyway, thanks in advance for your suggestions and help!

There are dupes of Clean Cotton out there, so maybe you can get one of those to try. I also think Coconut Lime Verbena is a very clean scent, or eucalyptus and spearmint if you want a natural essential oil for fragrance.

WSP's Sundried Cotton is very nice and not too difficult to soap with.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

Hands down for me is BB's Fresh Snow. Fresh and clean, it's like the laundry product aisle at the grocery store, but not overwhelming. Ozone is definitely there but there are also lovely light floral notes to balance it out. It soaps beautifully, sticks in CP and stays true. Can't ask for more!

Brambleberry's Sweetgrass is a very clean scent. Although I don't think it smells like sweetgrass I do enjoy the scent. Very fabric softener smelling in my opinion.

I like WSP's fresh snow an aqua spa. I am not sure if WSP first snow is similar to BB's fresh snow though
