I am looking for recommendations for column molds that are easy to use (preferably no lining necessary).

I would recommend the heavy duty column mold, but BB has several that should work...http://www.brambleberry.com/Search.aspx?k=column+mold

Are you looking for a round or rectangle mold? BB has the round silicone mold and I love it. I have two of them. I love circle bars the best but with the column molds you cannot embellish the tops of the soap so I tend to use my loaf molds more.

I thought about settling on the BB, but some of the reviews spoke bad leakage issues. So, I don't know.

soap-making-resource has an acrylic column mold. Does anyone have this?

I've never had leakage from the BB mold. The cap fits very well.
You can also use 3" PVC pipe. I did that before I bought the BB mold.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

I have both the PVC and the silicone round mold. Neither of them have leaked on me. I do take time to make sure the silicone edges are well pressed together. At first I put a few binder clips on the mold edges but have not done that recently. My next soap... tomorrow or Wed will be made with the silicone mold. The PVC mold I do have to use a liner of some type.

Love the BB silicone column mold. The only time I have leakage is when I try to gentle tap the mold to settle the contents.

I've got some PVC pipe column molds and it can be very very trying to get the soap out!
