Teach Soap

Hi all,
At the request of a dear friend I am going to make some rose scented, French pink clay and silk soap. I plan to use my fave recipe (olive, palm, coconut, Shea and castor). I've never used silk before, but I HAVE used rose FO - with disastrous results both times. I'm putting it off because of prior experiences . Has anyone had any luck with adding the FO to a bit of the oils beforehand? I'm not planning on a very fussy design, but a bit of swirling, maybe on the top, would be nice.......

Adding the FO to the oils definitely helps slow down acceleration, but you will probably still need to work fast! I wouldn't plan on doing any intricate swirls.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

You can do a simple swirl with hot process.
