I am just wondering if there is much difference?
I have read that there is more unsaponifiables in unrefined?
Not many soap suppliers sell unrefined?

There are more unsaponifiables in unrefined, but I prefer the refined, due to the smell.

I love the natural color and slightly nutty scent of unrefined shea butter, some don't and that's cool. I use unrefined shea because there is some concern about some of the natural properties being lost during the refining process. I can find unrefined shea & cocoa relatively easily and at a good price, but I haven't been able to find unrefined mango in bulk at a good price. If anyone knows of a source, please fill me in. :wink:
