I've gotten a couple of different samples, other than FOs. Lavender grades 1 and 2, kaolin clay, and I think ground loofah. And today I got a sample of neon blue raspberry colourant in my swap box. SO excited to try it!!!

Color me oddball, but my husband and I both really like the bay leaf and tobacco FO. I'll admit, I was skeptical at first but if you can get past the negative reaction to the word "tobacco," you might see that it has some possibilities. Sure, it's not going to be for everyone, but in my house it's a winner, and if anyone cares to donate their sample, I'll gladly take it.

Since the sample was only .3 oz, I blended it with BB sensuous sandalwood FO and a bit of citrus for a 2-pound batch and the result is a really nice masculine blend. So far, the tobacco and bay leaf is holding strong but it's not overwhelming the other ingredients in the blend. Not sure I'd like this FO all by itself just because it's pretty strong. The soap is still in the mold and we can't resist giving it a good sniff every time we walk by.

I like it, so does my husband. I love the free samples from BB, it has opened up a bunch of smells I didn't think I would like, but surprise!! I do!

I just got my order with the sample today. I couldn't pass up the silicone mold sale they had.
I had forgotten to check what it was this month so I was pleasantly surprised by this one!
I had a bunch in a row that were too 'flowery' or sweet for my taste, so this is a refreshing change!

I'm looking into making some soap for the men in my life, so I think i'll dabble with this sample.

I also bought the earl grey lemon scent recently but haven't had a chance to use it yet in my M&P. I think there's soaping in my weekend!

HA! Indeed I do...I was just about to place another order I'm EXTREMELY happy my husband is as understanding and has as much faith in me as he does. I DO think I should take stock and slow down, though.....maybe

Oh my heck....I just soaped with this and its FANTASTIC! Very green and fresh. I think its my new favorite! And the 1 ounce sample scented a 2 pound batch.
