One thing I have really enjoyed about my quest for dog shampoo bars is that people have been so courteous even when disagreeing. That does not happen on every board!
I found one dog soap bar on the NaKin soap blog which sounds very gentle and I will also try a baby/sensitive skin shampoo bar -unscented
In my research, I found that commercial dog shampoos vary wildly in their pH.
For the record, our dog only gets washed every 2-3 months but she does sometimes need a bath.

She is a red nose pit bull. Which just means that her nose is red or pinkish rather than grey or blackish she is the 3rd pit we have owned. They are good dogs. My daughter named her Eponine after one of the characters in Les Miz

I have heard of the "different colored-nose" (for lack of a better word) types of pit bulls. I have often wondered, the only difference between dogs is the color of their nose? Their conformation, size, coat-type, everything else is the same?? Love the Les Miz name!
