Teach Soap

Did anyone here buy the app for the iPad or iPhone?

I did and I"m not finding things so I have a few questions.
Where do you put in the super fat amount

That application looks pretty slick. I use SoapMaker3, which is probably in a whole other realm since it tracks supplies, purchases, production, etc in addition to just recipes. Maybe the BB app will get there someday, but this looks like a great start!

what i do appreciate is not being hooked up to the internet to use it. and that it's for apple. I don't have a pPC any more and Crawford has not made program for apple. So, now we get a little something. lol.

I wish you could use the app with grams rather than ounces. Ounces just aren't specific enough!

I was looking at a you tube video and a lady there said the Same thing.

I don't know how to use grams but it would be more usable by those that like grams also.

I don't like it. Needs work

You can change from ounces to grams! Just go to your settings app in your iPhone or iPad. Then scroll down until you find the Soap App — the click on it. Once you’ve clicked on it, you have the option to switch from US (Ounces) to Metric (Grams).

why not put these things in a FYI in the app or a how to in the app or something so people will know up front where to find things?

they aren't obvious settings to me. I'd never think to go to my app settings to change something in a program.

I also want to know where do you set it so you can get it to say the soap is ready on the correct date. I had it say it would be ready in august 12. of 2012

For now the 'ready on' date is automatically set but we'd like to have that change in future versions so that you can set it to whatever date you wish.

I've passed the suggestions of the instructions along to the AM and also the app developer. They will keep these updates in mind for the next Android update as well.
