Just want to be sure on the recipe before I do this one. Is it the 100% CO with a 20% superfat?

When I saw this soap discussed a couple times, I knew right away I wanted to lay in a stock of it. My husband and I do a lot of saltwater fishing, and I have always wanted a decent, unscented soap to use on the boat. Serious fisherpeople don't use anything with fragrance, including sunscreen and bug spray. Don't want to contaminate the bait with anything that smells nice. Fishies don't like it. :D

Yep, that's the one. This soap is also the only one that lathers the best in ocean water.

I read somewhere that Anise Oil (black licorice) will mask your human scent?
Not sure if that is correct though!

Many thanks Irena. Glad I thought to double-check before I made it. Even my husband is excited to have something on the boat to clean up with. For years we've been making do with a rinse and a towel scrub, and by the time we hit the dock the first stop is for fresh water and soap. :D

Usopia (love your screen name!) Interesting about the anise fragrance. The objective here isn't so much masking human scent, but not introducing any artificial scents to the bait. On the other hand, we smell pretty "human" by the end of a fishing trip, so maybe I need to make an anise batch for the end of the day. :D
