Wow that makes a huge difference Soapbuddy! I mean I knew gelling did, but I totally see why you prefer to avoid it when possible. I loved your half cylinders soaps too. I've never used soap in that shape before but I might have to try it out.

I'm curious how your tests turned out hvrba! I love the swirls though.

Welcome Paspenka, your soaps turned out great. Everyone runs into problems at one point or another. Accidents are just learning experiences!

Fun soaps rosie99! Love the space soap and the shades of blue in your fresh snow soap are delightful.

Thanks everyone. Those two fragrances behave beautifully. I had read on BB that Woodland Elves would accelerate but I don't think it did. I honestly don't have an accurate account for that because I made a 2 pound batch, split it in 2 and worked with the Chai Tea first. By the time I got to the Woodland Elves my batter was a little thick but not too much and then adding the fo thinned it a tad. The lighter color of the Chai Tea is starting to darken a bit but there is definite seperation of the two colors making it look like a latte. That's what I was going for.

My very first batch of CP! Hope it turns out ! I'll post pictures when I'm finished cutting it, but I'm probably going to wait about a week because of the mold I'm using.

I used Almond Biscotti Fragrance Oil from Bramble Berry, Bramble Berry's Lot's of Lather Quick Mix, Brown Oxide, Cocoa Powder, Titanium Dioxide, and I'm taking advantage of those discoloring properties! Crossing my fingers

Today Luanne came to my workshop to learn how to make CP ! Between the two of us we made SEVEN batches! Here are pics of 6 of them (the 7th is in my vertical mold and isn't super photogenic right now LOL )

Luanne's Soaps!
Energy with a green swirl:


Coconut Milk (a fragrance) in gel phase [Was super happy she got to see soap gelling!]:


Blueberry Cobbler [this one showed Luanne what acceleration is, and also how to do a spoon swirl, she did great!]:


Heather's Soaps!
"Sweet Dusk" using pink clay, charcoal and some purple mica, scented with BB's Moonlight Pomegranate. Those speckles are cranberry seeds.


"Pineapple Salsa" using BB's pineapple cilantro and MP soap balls. This one is yellow on top and bottom with a white and green ITP swirl in the center. There will be a video on my blog for it soon! This one is for the BB soap swap!


"Hyper" or "Kaleidosoap" (have used both names) using BB's energy with a 5 colour ITP. The catch is that the base was also a bright colour. The speckles on this one are rainbow jojoba beads, also from BB.
