 Post subject: substitutes

as an addendum to my question on body butters. can i sub corn starch for dry flo and what can i sub for meadowfoam oil? never heard of it before. can i use rice bran oil instead?

Corn starch can be subbed for dry flo. You don't have to use meadowfoam seed oil. You can substitute it for any light (less greasy type) oil that you can find.

while you certainly can use any oil you choose, meadowfoam is a wonderful oil that has great properties. It is an American oil and is a complete crop, meaning that every part of it is used. It is a great oil!

Fractionated Coconut oil would be a good sub. BB sells Meadowfoam oil. I use it in several products and have absolutely loved it.
