Hi Teach Soap,

Has anyone added liquid castile soap to their fizzies (bombs)? I've tried it and I'm letting them harden, but I have not dropped one in the bath yet. My goal was to get bubbles. I guess that that this would be considered a bubble bar or solid bubble bath, of sorts if it works.

I used a basic bomb recipe with baking soda, citric, etc. based on BB's recipes and added in a bit of castile soap. Just curious if any of you can get your bombs to produce bubbles! I know that frosting and such can produce bubbles, but I was trying to get my un-frosted bombs to bubble.

I've heard of lots of people trying it & it didn't work. If you're looking for bubbles you're going to need a surfactant like SLSa or SCI.

Yes, I figured that my best bet is SLSa for bubbles. Thanks for letting me know that others have tried and failed! I looked around for evidence of that on the web before I posted, but didn't find much, which makes sense.
