Teach Soap

I saw a youtube video a while ago () where someone had a mini loaf mold. Not like the molds with multiple cavities but similiar to or crafter's choice molds, but it was smaller.

I would desperately love to buy some but I can't find them anywhere. Anyone know what kind of mold it is or where I might have better luck looking? So far amazon and craft stores/websites are a bust, it's possible that I haven't been searching online with the right terms, as "mini loaf mold" usually just gets me the multi cavity molds.

The person doesn't seem very active on youtube lately or I'd send them a message to ask. I might do it anyway if I still can't find them eventually.

I have both types, one like in the video, and the BB one. I REALLY prefer the BB one! I also have some small bamboo drawer organizers from bed bath and beyond that make a great tester loaf! They were only $3 too!

A little while after I posted this I found out that the reason why it looks like that youtuber/soaper was inactive was because she had started a new channel, so I did end up sending her a message asking about the brand. Seems I should have held out a little while longer.

Also seems I'm going to have to try a little harder to find these little niche sources!

Sephi, I have one of those molds as well. I rarely use it. Prefer the small 1# mold from BB.

The dimensions of the BB one are vastly different from the mini loaf from the video. It's not really the quantity of soap it makes that I find appealing as the shape of the soap. If I used a regular loaf or the 4" loaf from BB, I'd have to cut it a lot just to achieve the dimensions of a bar that the mini loaf would make in single slices.

When I cut my mini loaf I get 3 bars of soap. The one from BB I get 4 bars of soap.
