Teach Soap

I'm the type of person who likes having specific tools/items for specific purposes. I mean like, I keep 10 different kinds of bandaids handy so that I have just the right kind of bandaid I need. Kitchen wise I have many different utensils, like 4+ different spatulas which each are great for specific tasks, multiple different kinds of tongs, whisks, etc. So I really actually relished the fact that I'd need special tools for making soap that were only used for making soap.

I saw this baby at hobby lobby last night. It's high heat resistant silicone, and it will be just perfect for a few different soap related tasks. Namely scraping sides of bowls/containers to make sure I get ALL the soap batter out. Probably certain kinds of swirling, leveling tops if I felt like it, etc.



It's about 1 inch wide, 5 inches long (not including the handle section) and is about 1/8 inch thick that tapers to one side. The other side also comes to an edge (as in not rounded)

If there had been more than one color I might have bought TWO! One for my kitchen and one for soaping.

If it works for you go for it! I prefer a regular silicone spatula.

Oh I got a regular spatula too, and a spoon, and all sorts of stuff. Probably got carried away, but I think I just love having utensils too much.

Too bad you don't live close or I would let you come clean out my kitchen. I have more utensils than I know what to do with! My mom gives me and my husband and our kids kitchen stuff for christmas every year. It is getting out of hand. I have like 4 of every kind of spatula known to man it seems. I am to the point that I am about to throw it all out and start over from scratch.
