Teach Soap

So it is official when I move in with my boyfriend (hopefully sometime next year! Ooohhhh so excited!) we are going to start on the soap business path! Since we both work in video games and the majority of my fans have gotten involved in the project (you'd be surprised how people get absorbed into soap talk!) I'm going to start small with video game and teen themed soaps. Since the boyfriend usually attends one or two conventions a year he usually gets a vendor table anyway.

So I got this cool first idea project that I'm going to branch out on!

Comic book soaps! This game came out last year called Injustice: Gods Among Us. Brief story: imagine if Superman became an evil dictator and the heels and villains had to pick sides (some even switch sides)! It's a really good story and has a ton of characters. I believe 30 in total but this IS ONGOING of course.

My idea is to make regular melt and pour soap bars with a fragrance and a color design that represents each character. My boyfriend loves the idea! But he loves comics so of course! And since Injustice was such a huge (and still is popular) video game I think it has a fan base with comic readers and video game and tv people.

And I can bet even some of you guys remember some classic heroes and villains! But anyway I'd love suggestions on fragrances. I only have a few listed per character. But seriously I'd love to know if you guys even know some of the characters (I'm 20 and I didn't even know some of them!)

I know next to nothing about US comics as I wasn't born here. Did you goggle comic book soaps? I believe I've seen some type of comic book soaps before. If you will be making certain characters will you need permission from the author since the images or shapes might be copyrighted?

Many shops have been closed after not listening to their cease and desist letters. You may do "inspired by" work though, just not replicate any copyrighted images or characters. And of course some character names are also not usable, so just be cautious in what you put out there, check the copyright info before you waste your time and efforts.
