I have seen references to slow tracing oils. Are some oils slow to trace ? Are there any oils that speed up trace? If so, which ones are they?

The more known slow tracing oils are:
Olive
Soybean
Hazelnut
Avocado
Sunflower
Hemp

Babassu
Castor
Coconut
Cocoa Butter
Jojoba
Lard
Tallow
Palm
Palm kernel
Shea Butter

But there are other things that contribute to quicker trace as well, such as the temperature that you're oils and lye solution is at, the temperature in the area that you're soaping, what you're using to mix with, certain fo's & eo's, etc.

Thanks Genny that's good info. At what temp. would it accelerate trace. I soap between 110 and 120. Is this good?

Amanda lovinsoap blogspot puts lard in the slow moving oil category.

So it really depends on how much of each you use. The more olive oil the slower your recipe in my experience. I love working with lard as I just began experimenting with it.

That's a good temp to soap. You can go even cooler if you need to. I use lard or tallow in all my soaps and have plenty of time to do swirls. You just want to keep your oils warm enough so that the solids stay melted. If they start to solidify, you're soaping too cool.
