Teach Soap

I used Black Oxide. I think I may have used too much (oops, got a little heavy handed) but I haven't used it yet since I just made this batch.
Here is the latest batch. Chamomile with dried chamomile in the top layer and a little more sprinkled on top.

Oh no I guess the bubbles are gray then when too much blk oxide is used? Still looks really pretty.

I've been doing a load of monochromatic single tint soaps lately. Here is green tea and I love this fragrance from WSP.

I learn so much when I can't leave well enough alone!

Started on my christmas soaps yesterday. Did Peppermint and Frankincense & Myrrh soaps all made with EO's. Unmolded and cut this morning. First off peppermint soap as very soft ( only on the bottom ) and stuck all to the bottom on my silicone liner and pulled off chunks on the ends of my loaf. Luckily it was soft enough to scoop out and and stick back on there but my swirls turned out better than I had hoped Since I had trouble with the peppermint I played it safe and stuck the frank and myrrh in the freezer before trying to unmold. This loaf cost me over $30 to make and I had troubles with it yesterday ( see post here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11545 ) and was already expecting to either rebatch or chuck it ( which I did NOT want to do! ) but luckily it zap tested fine!

Very pretty soaps! The Frank & Myrrh looks almost like slate.

just made my firsr christmas soap tonight! scented with fir needle EO and colord with micas, so it's sparkles (my first soaps colored with micas)

Also first time experiencing the TD crackles ( didnt have a problem with my peppermint soap ) Maybe I used to much? But I wanted it super white. Also I hope this scent is one that cures into something great cause right no it makes me want to gag NG's website says " This fragrance begins with top notes of fresh lime and menthol; middle notes of Douglas fir and lavender; with full-body base notes of eucalyptus and pine. " I smell nothing but trees
