Yeah, a LOT of those around here. One near us has 2 indoor pools, and indoor volleyball courts! They are trying to sell it for $15 million, but it is on a smallish lot (for the size of the house). One of the ones the husband and his parents looked at was $5 million. That is pretty standard for the area. $5 for a rundown shack that needs a tonne of work! *shakes head*

So the only one who can officially decide on a location is my mother. She doesn't like Seattle at all. She'd sooner pick purgatory. Why is the only one that can make a decision is the only one that isn't moving?!

So late night update!

Drumroll please!

The beginning of the new year Phil and I are taking a trip to Seattle to scope it out! We've been to Florida a few times but neither of us has been to Seattle. I guess if you wanna potentially live somewhere for a few years you have to see it!

I love Washington State, it is gorgeous, but personally I wouldn't want to live in Seattle. Too big, busy city for me. If you like big city it may be fine for you. Since your coming anyways you should check out the other smaller cities as well! Go Bellingham!

There you go! It really is a gorgeous city.

I spent two days in Bellingham a couple of years ago and I agree! It was a great part of my trip... met some very friendly people. That town is a jewel. What I did not like about Washington was the mountains and the traffic. I panic when driving on the edge, had to close my eyes crossing the bridge to Mount St Helens, but then I come from the flat lands. I do not like huge cities but Seattle was not bad for us, I hope to get back for another visit someday.
