Teach Soap

So I bought the men's fragrance sampler as my first sampler kit because I love my boyfriend and he has sensitive skin so I want to make something that doesn't irritate his skin. I'd say the sampler was overall pretty good. I wrote down the ones he liked and disliked as follows.

Liked- Black Tea, Kentish Rain, Musk Cybilla, Spiced Mahogany

Neutral- Bonsai, Cold Water, Smoky Patchouli, Wasabi

Disliked- Ancient Sedona, Drakkar, Sensuous Sandalwood

I'm happy he liked as many since he's so picky! I'm looking for more recommendations based off this list. Also I want to make some soap for his dad but his dad is allergic to citrus. Weird? So are the fragrance oils or essential oils going to react? I don't want to put my future father in law in the hospital!

Your BF has good taste! I love Black Tea, Kentish Rain & Spiced Mahogany! Wasabi is also one of my faves.
OK - other suggestions: Cedar & Saffron, Vanilla Oak, Beau Brummel, Dragon's Blood Cybilla, Mayan Gold, Oatmeal Stout, Rain Cybilla

I don't think I'd want to wash with anything that smells like Wasabi. Black Tea would probably be appealing, though.

You might be surprised. I actually enjoy this one. Have used it straight - as the only FO and mixed with sage, cilantro and vanilla. I love this FO.

Sometimes A Mistake is so much fun, You just have to do it again!

I like it OOB too but have yet to soap it. Love, love, love NG's Cucumber, Wasabi, Cilantro. It's a tangy, fresh, and unisex scent.

Isn't it funny how all of our noses are different. Ancient Sedona is one of my top sellers. I have a male client who buys two loaves a year of this fragrance. Of course it looks different each time I make it and this pleases him!

So does anyone know of a FO similar to Old Spice? I want to make soap as a gift for the future father in law and that's the only scent he uses for smelling like a man

Vetyver is a spicy fragrance that men love. Old Spice is very old and I don't remember what is in it. It's older than Jade East remember that one? Oh no too long ago for me! LOL
