I'm also a vegetarian so I want to stick with vegetable oils. The only thing I've read about palm oil is the orangutan issue (using the oil in a different thing, not yet soap making =p). I have no experience with it.

I use a combo of cocoa butter and shea butter for hardness ( Also use 20% CO ). All of my soaps are vegan friendly
