My new soap cutter from for Craftssake.


It is a single cut and I love it. I can cut my bars any width I want. I finally got it after a five week wait. They told me up front they were behind by four weeks. They were very nice to work with.
I hesitate to make a picture of this soap yet as it is still evolving. It will be gold except for the pearly white mica in the middle. I made a all goatsmilk soap so the outside is gold and the inside still has to turn after the air hits it.


I made Oakmoss and Amber and it smells so good


Last is a soap I was trying to do the secret swirl on but it started accelerating and I was not able to get the pearly white to pour correctly down the middle but it will be okay. I am going to make another batch for Christmas soap so maybe I will get it right next time. I was inspired on here by someones beautiful all soap.

Finally tried cold process for the first time! So much fun! I wanted deeper colors but I used BB Fresh Bamboo so I had to move quickly :)

Congratulations, Julie, that looks like a great soap cutter. Your soaps turned out great. I really wish I could smell that Oakmoss & Amber. :mrgreen: Cranberry Fig is very easy to work with but it only went over fine with customers. I think I may have waited too late in the Fall to introduce it though so I'm trying it again.

I made my first bar that contained salt! Pink Himalayan Salt and I am in love. It's scented with Lychee & Red Tea
