Teach Soap

hi, just new to soapmaking - using MP and cupcake molds - wanted to pour soap over the top of the 'cupcake' so it looks like chocalate or icing. Tried melting it down, then whipping it to 'heavy up' the consistency, but it was either too runny or if i let it cool too much it was too solid to run out of the container. I know I havnt explained myself very well at all, but does anyone know how to make MP soap runny without being too runny ? Maybe it has to be CP ? Thanks

Soap Queen has used homemade liquid soap added to her base for things like marshmallows. Have you checked her blog?

I've read somewhere that if you add a small amount of glycerin, it won't set up as fast or hard.

I have always had that same problem so what I do now is with the whipped soap is starts to harden a bit I grab a hand full of soap and roll it in to a ball(with the same diameter as the cupcahe) then flatten the bottom and let it harden then I 'glue' them together with some leftover MP
