Soooo annoyed with fedex!! Hate always paying for 4-5 business day shipping and having to wait a week and a half to get a mangled box dropped in the middle of my driveway. Again, my box will be here late, their excuse this time is 'long weekend'. Except I phoned fedex and they are only closed today, which means 7 business days to get my mangled box. *sigh*.

What would you guys suggest? I tried USPS once, a long time ago, and it took them 3.5 weeks and twice the cost. Kind of wish there was a UPS option, they seem the most reliable these days!

Have you suggested to Brambleberry that they add UPS as an option?
I have it on my web site, but it is more pricey.

I suppose I should suggest it to them, not sure if I have before or not. I tried to contact fedex via email and was told it is a long holiday weekend. But they haven't missed a delivery to the neighbors. They were even there on the 4th! I asked that my email be directed to a supervisor and it is (supposedly) being done.

I just want my stuff in a timely manner, is that so much to ask?

You can say that you want UPS in the notes section on your BB order.

Keep in mind though that since we do not ship with them regularly we do not get nearly as good of discount with them as we do FedEx, shipping will cost more. We used to ship with them a lot more, however, many boxes were getting damaged and then the claims we filed for them would get denied. Super frustrating.

We can always make an exception and ship UPS if you want, just let us know on every order that you prefer UPS.

UPS always has cheaper rates when I ship out. USPS sometimes uses Fedex to get to their facility and then USPS takes over. I wish USPS didn't drop their parcel post option - they now call it something different and you have to go into the post office to do it.

Whatever you do, don't use Lasership - they are the pits!!!

What would really solve my problem would be if there were a second BB location.. say, in New Jersey!

Can you get things shipped to you at work?

About those mangled boxes.....My sister worked for UPS for a while loading the boxes onto the trucks. After the stories she's told me of how they toss and kick those boxes around do to the amount of packages and the time constraints (2 - 3 people loading 15 trucks), I cross my fingers every time I'm waiting on a package that I know is fragile.
