Thanks Linda! I have definitely been busy....looking to launch in July and so it's stock-building time. I have a rather LARGE family base that is looking to buy, buy, and buy some more. I just hope I can keep up! :lol:

Beautiful Stacey! Was that red oxide you used in the "watermelon" soap? I've got some but haven't tried it yet...but if it's that pretty I will try it next batch! :lol:

@Lovegrey: the red I used for the "watermelon" soap was a free sample of the red rainbow mica I got with the mold I purchased from Nurture Soap Molds. They threw in a free sample of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple - all of which are modeled after the old Pop Micas that TKB used to have. I've worked with each now and they've behaved really well!

Oh and a correction, I think I said in another post somewhere that I used NG's SOCP fragrance for the watermelon looking soap, but it was actually Mango Tangerine....I was trying to capture all of the colors of the two fruits in it. I used SOCP for the red & orange (top) soap.

And just to add a note to my post above.....I didn't have to use all that much (was just over 1/2 tsp) for that deep red hue for the 2 lbs loaf I made.

So i made my first batch a few days ago!!! It was so much fun! It was scented with blackberry and sage (i love that scent!!) and it was an in the pot swirl with some sort of design on top.

In the cut photo you see that white dust right? Thats because I didn't mix in the titanium dioxide enough so it clumped. But Im still pretty proud of my first batch!!

Beautiful bars, Elena! You can pre-mix the titanium dioxide in a tbsp or two of oil prior to adding it to help with clumping. I do that then mix it with a mini frother. Really amazing job for your first batch. My first batch was a disaster.

Very nice job the three colors are rally nice together. Be careful not all td is oil based.
