Teach Soap

1st batch of soap - ever. I made an attempt at a 4 color in the pot swirl that turned to pudding on me but WOW does it smell yummy. LOVE lemongrass. It's just over a week old.

Looks good! The great thing about soap making is no one can ever tell if you make an oops! LOL

Love Spell is a favorite fragrance of mine


Tried a new fragrance from Candlescience. Hydragea. I only used 1 oz. of FO for a 3 lb batch as like most florals it sped up trace but it was very workable since I did not quite as much. It smells good so I hope it is a sticker. Don't know if I will order this again though because it would not be a fragrance I am drawn too


Had a friend with me and I let her stick blend this one and unfortunately it ended up with air bubbles. I am trying to find a good aqus color if anyone has any recommendations. This color was so pretty mixed but it has turned a gray green.

ultramarine blue with just a titch of green oxide will give you aqua color.

Irena I was trying to post a reply and I must have hit the new topic .
Thank you for your advice. I did mix xome ultramarine with Chrome green which is the only green mica I have to make the Hydrangea color. I don't think it wil make turquoise but I can try. The only other green I have is lab colors. I will look and see what BB has that might help

Julie, WOW your soaps are beautiful!!!! My arms are exhausted from yesterdays attempts at tracing by hand vs a stick blender but you have inspired me to get through my work day as quickly as possible and get home and soap some more!! Truly beautiful!

Jenno48 thank you. Your soap is pretty too. I soap very cool so I lots of play time unless I use florals or too much FO.

I like watching youtube tutorials on people doing different techniques then I make them my own.
