Teach Soap

If I plan on adding coffee grounds to my MP soap, do I use fresh grounds or wet grounds? Also wondering if they just add texture or do they scent the soap as well? Would I want to add a fragrance to enhance it or would that be over powering?? I would be making a 3 lb loaf.

They won't add any scent or atleast they haven't when I have added them before. I always used dried because the water left in them will get in the soap and making it bleed. I only did it a few times because I don't like the way it looked. It worked fine in cp but mp just looked like turds to me.

Funny you should ask. I just finished my first batch of MP soaps, a yuzu-scented gardener's scrub soap in half-sphere shape. I used dried-out used coffee grounds, shredded loofah and pumice powder in the body, and ground-up juniper berries on the "dome." (This is also my first post here. Hi, everyone!)
