I recently got sevral little goodies from BrambleBerry , all awsome as usuall and was going to make soap with my nieces 11 and 12 well the dad decided soap makeing wasnt allowed . I chose Melt and pour specificlly cuase there is no danger in it , no lye or what not but him and my sis are both pretty anti home made so I decided to still make the soap but do it my self. It was so easy and fun and the soaps turned out really cute I think , better then my cp ( i use empty containers and no colors for my soaps as Im just starting) . I will try to post some pictures but so far have not been able to figure out how lol Im pretty computer challenged.
I was wondering though is there anything I could tell them to make them realize M&P is more like a easy craft project and not something that could be dangerous? Thanks everyone.

You could show the parents how to do it first. Maybe they'd even have a little fun.
I've been doing MP with my kids since they were old enough to stir and sit still. Now the older two are 10 & 11 and do some MP projects without me supervising.
