What is the shelf life of sweet almond oil? I had infused some calendula petals in sweet almond oil last Fall. I haven't used up all the oil yet and I even saved the petals after infusing to use them in soaps but I haven't used them all up yet and am wondering how long they are good. They look and smell fine - no discoloring or bad odors. I laid the petals out on some paper towels tonight thinking I might use them, I ended up not needing them but I did get more of the oil out of the petals so I stored them back in the little Rubbermaid container and decided I should ask here what the shelf life is. If it goes bad, how noticeable is it? Will there be a bad smell? Should I refrigerate it?
