I really like this mold! I want to have the dragonfly a different color than the rest of the soap. Since this is a 3d mold and the dragonfly is an indention, would it be possible for me to paint the raised surface of the mold first then pour the main soap color? I don't want to fill the dragonfly, just have it a different color. Thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Can you use soap colors and paint on top of the soap once it's done?

I thought about maybe just using body safe glitter on the dragonfly too. Not sure how to make it stick to it though as I have yet to use the glitter... :roll:

Maybe just mix the glitter in with a bit of clear MP & pour it in the dragonfly part first.

Yes, it would mix with the soap, I've tried something similar. I don't know what you can do other than maybe just use a q-tip with some color to swipe the indentations after you take the soap out. I find my designs come out better if I use a q-tip vs paintbrush.

I don't have the mold in front of me to see how deep the design is but you could either just do one pour and paint the dragonfly after unmolded or...

Pour the main soap color first but a very small amount and only around the dragon fly, not enough to cover over it, then a second pour for the dragonfly color, which covers over the dragonfly, then a third pour, the same color as the first pour (the main soap color) to finish it off. Hope that makes sense. This works best if the design is fairly deep and you have tools like a dropper and scraper.
