Teach Soap

Does anyone buy any supplies through Amazon? My kids want to order something and if we spend $8 more we pay no shipping, so I wondered what CP soap supplies might I find a good deal on but there are too many pages of items to look through and what I have seen so far isn't such a great price.
Does anyone have any favorites from Amazon?

As far as soaping oils and butters, you'll get them for much less if you order thru a supplier. You can find decent deals on mold most of the time. Do you need any soapmaking books? I've gotten several from amazon.

I've gotten several silicone molds from there at good prices but only some are included in the shipping deal you are looking at, so watch for that!

I recently ordered a set of silicone mixing bowls from Amazon for making lip balms & other products that contain beeswax. That way you can just let it harden and flex to pop it out for clean up. So much easier than trying to clean up hardened beeswax on other materials.

I also ordered some Red Palm Oil to test it out. It stained my molds though it did make a gorgeous orange soap.

I've also ordered some powdered Sorbitol to test as a lather increasing additive.

Hmmm... can't remember what else off the top of my head.

Thanks for all your ideas! Yes, I did see that there were a lot of molds, and the silicone bowls are a great idea!! I've just started making lip balms - loved my first batch with candellila wax! Any suggestions on favorite books?
I have the Everything Soapmaking book. Other books I've checked out at the library. Do you have suggestions for other "must have" soaping books?
