Woo hoo! I started on my Ginger Ale swap soap today.
After researching ginger ale on Pinterest and Tumblr for inspiration, I decided on green & white/silver as the colors. I've wanted to use a 18-bar slab mold I've had for a while, so I decided to use it for the this soap - trying embeds with it to use a new technique.
I made the embed batch today. I used the BB 10" silicone loaf mold using my regular recipe with pearlescent mica, silver & iridescent glitter. I'm planning on cutting it thinly to make large pencil curls. The batter looked so amazing. I am crossing my fingers that it's anywhere as near beautiful at cut/cure.
While I was researching, I also came across a homemade ginger ale recipe - so I walked to the grocery & made some homemade ginger ale yesterday afternoon. Yum!
I'm having a ton of fun with this swap!
