Good Morning Beautiful Soapers,
UNCLE! I need advice. My second craft show is coming up and I am having the hardest time figuring out the best method for display my m&p soap so folks can smell it. If I leave it unwrapped it sweats and gets too yucky to handle. I am using soap boxes so packaging them is hard to smell the goodness through the boxes.

Any advice will be well received and thanked

I'd just leave out one sample of each soap for people to smell.

Maybe you can try putting one of each scent inside a ziplock bag. That way you can open it to smell it, but it won't be sticky to handle.

Hi,

Soap Queen suggested the below:

* Make yourself a drying container. Get an airtight container and put silica beads (silica comes in vitamins, or new shoes) into the airtight container. Then, place your soap in the container for up to 2 hours, checking on the soap every 30 minutes. This will keep your soap drier on the outside. Don’t leave the soap in the drying container too long however, or else you will find yourself with a shrunken, unattractive bar of soap because all the moisture will be sucked out of it!

Have anyone tried this?

what I usually do, since I have sugar scrubs and saltz and stuff the same scent as my MP soaps, I usually just leave a sample out of that for people to sniff. since it's the same scent, I don't have to worry about the "dew"...

I live on Long Island, and well, we're very moist here.. :lol:

I get dew constantly.
