Teach Soap

Hey ladies (and gents?), long time no post!

I just ordered some new fragrance oils, and thought that in grand ol' tradition I would ask about anyone's CP experiences with them!

Here goes:

From Nature's Garden:
sweet orange chili pepper (believe Linda spoke highly of this one)
black raspberry vanilla (I wasn't happy with WSP's, big fader)
cucumber & melons, fruity rings, pink sugar (bought these ones before, but used it in other stuff)
rosemary mint
loving spell (i've bought soap from another local soaper made with BB's Love Spell dupe, not sure how this one will compare)
honeysuckle (lots of reviews say it's a big A)
chocolate covered strawberries
black linen and amber (think Carrie raved about this one)
Hawaiian suntan
raspberry lemonade, rainbow sherbet, peach smoothie (soaped all these before and was very happy with them)


From Rustic Escentuals (not as good about reviews/CP testing on their site):
spicy apples & peaches (luuuurrrrve)
bonfire bliss (a guy friend actually asked about a bonfire scent---shocking, I know!---and i remembered having seen this one on their site...)
patchouli rain (Sodak soaper said it was yum)
lemon verbena
amber romance (not a huge amber fan, so i wasn't sure if there was a remarkable one anywhere, but my landlady asked if i could get an amber scent for her daughter, and since she takes about $50 bucks off the rent every month in soap, i decided to oblige haha!)

I have soaped both the black raspberry vanilla and the loving spell. both stick well and the Loving spell is great in LS stays clear in Castile LS if added when warm

Talk about a haul! Wow that's a huge set of new FOs.

Let us know how you like the Frooty Rings and Pink Sugar.

Haha, I hadn't let myself buy any new foes for a while, because I had so many already I told myself I didn't need any more. I finally caved!

Just got my Rustic Escentuals package. (Yay for living so near the supplier!) Patchouli Rain is very soft and nice, just a hint of patchouli and kind of an airy scent. Bonfire Bliss is actually quite nice, can pick up on the cedarwood and some sweetness. I am assuming it will discolor. Lemon Verbena is bright and very very strong, so I will use it sparingly. Amber Romance is just "meh" to me.

BRV is a great seller for me. I use it a .5oz PPO and it's very strong. (be sure to check the useage rate - I think it's only 3.7%)
Sweet Orange Chili Pepper is awesome. And easy to soap. And the scent lasts.
Cucumber & Melons is nice but wasn't very strong.

I haven't used anything from AHRE. Pats self on the back for using self control.

Laura, BB's White Ginger and Amber is really nice and so is their Mayan Gold. PM me if you want me to send you a couple slivers.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but they sure have some great ideas!

I haven't used NG's blackberry sage, but I really like BB's version, and it soaps great.

I ALMOST ordered blackberry fizz from NG, though. Deleted it from my cart at the last minute. Now my heart it is filled with regret!!

Wow, that's fast shipping! Mine took a week, which is normal for me. Thought I'd chime in on the Patchouli Rain..use caution. I got a blog comment that it moves along, and it may or may not rice on you (for those wondering, I didn't order this FO...got a sample tea light in the scent).

I haven't soaped Lemon Verbena yet...no problems I saw of though, on the SSRB...just that it's strong.

Sweet Orange Chili Pepper is the bomb! Easy to work with and currently a best seller. I use BB's BRV (love it) so I can't wait to hear how you like NG's version. NG's Rosemary Mint (0.8 oz ppo) turned out blah - it faded on me but was easy to work with. I haven't used Rustic Escentuals but the following NG scents are popular and easy to work with: Sweet Orange Chili Pepper, The Perfect Man, Honey Bunny, and Hawaiian Ginger. I just got OMG Olive but haven't soaped it yet. It just isn't possible to stop getting more scents.

I soaped RE's Bonfire Bliss. It's QUITE the mover, but the scent is lovely! Definite cedarwood, sweet vanilla and a little musk (?) going on there. Day 2 out of the mold and so far it is a golden brown in color.

I'll update as I soap the others.
