Tried a formula and added some shea that is for MP and yeah not working well. smells good but not to sure it will set up since the oils are coming to the top. Back to the drawing board LOL

Are you talking about water soluble shea? Or is this a fragrance oil?

Or did you add some MP that is shea based? Also, sometimes oils come to the top depending on whether you reached a true trace or the temp you soaped at. Did you put your recipe through a lye calculator and weigh ingredients properly?

ok the shea is already to use base from hobby lobby. looks like the soap is going to turn out after all. it got hard and smells good so it might be ok. time will tell :shock:

That craft store MP base that you used is not a very good quality and seems to be drying for most people. I would suggest one of the MP soap bases that BrambleBerry carries instead.

Did you add the MP to CP soap? Soap cool if you want to add MP to CP. Have fun!
