Anyone here who's used almond nut butter in a recipe, I'm looking for your experience:

With a fresh almond butter that contains no preservatives, do I need to add a preservative to the soap?

Do you feel that almond butter adds any particular qualities to a soap?

Have you experienced problems with batch seizing or anything like that of concern?

Thank you for your help.

Hard Soap does not need a preservative.
I do not use almond butter or almond oil due to the allergy potential, so someone else will have to help you with this. But I have never heard of it causing a seizing issue, nor do I see why it would. Depending what the vendor blends it with, it could possibly hasten your trace a bit, but that should be the most it can do.
Happy soaping~

 I saw the post, but nowhere that I posted til now.
I agree with Tammy. I would not use it in soap due to allergy potential. The oil made from almonds is considered a soft oil, so it could make your soap soft.

Irena and Tammy, thank you both for your time.

I'll take a look at the hardness of the recipe before proceeding. Thank you for pointing out that concern.
