I was wondering if you could put REAL lavender in m&p soap???

Will it fragrence it???

It will not add any fragrance. Also, the lavender will turn brown over time.

Soapbuddy is definitely right on this one. The lavender will absorb the liquid from your soap base, making it brown and soggy. Some people chose to just sprinkle some over the top of their soap. This cuts down on the brown, mooshy lavender but there will still be some.

I put it in bath bombs at client request, and those who order them that way seem to adore seeing the lavender buds fizz out all over the tub. Personally, I think they they look like fleas.

My gradma bought me some dried poperee that smells really nice and would that go good in soap???

I wouldn't - some have fixatives in them for scent and who knows if they are "skin" safe. Potpourri is not really supposed to be for skin.
