Hello,

I have been saving lard for a few months. I've found that the way to do it that is easiest for me is to strain the fat from pork sausage through a coffee filter. When I tried to strain the fat from burger meat, it didn't work so hot. I'm just wondering if anybody can share their experiences. We raise hogs, so I have acess to alot of fat. I am also interested in getting it from deer. I think Jbren did this once.
