So, a family member sent me a link to a "great, all natural B & B company that I have to check out". The company's new to me, it's called Perfectly Posh. Looks to be an MLM.

I was perusing through the products and noticed a "Water based essential oil spritz"
The ingredients: SDA Alcohol 40-B, Propanediol, Propylene Glycol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated caster Oil, Gluconolactone, Potassium Sorbate, Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Oil, Mentha Viridis (Spearmint) Oil, Ylang Ylang

Umm...water based?

Also noticed there glycerin based sugar scrub says "Preserved with Vitamin E" on it.

Then of course their lotion bar called, The Healer "Cares for dry, damaged, or afflicted skin with miraculous, natural shea butter. Great for use on dry skin, eczema, abrasions, irritations, discoloration, and more."

haha I know what you mean. Kinda like how my MIL gave my husband and I body wash in our stockings this past xmas..... Like we dont have enough soap in this house

My mother is the worst. She gives us 2 individually wrapped body washes exactly the same each year. Both me and my daughter. I can't use them because they irritate my skin. She also will go to the farmers market and purchase lotion bars and tell me how wonderful they are after I have given her one to try and I found it sitting on the bathroom counter untouched (and I mean she hasn't even broken the seal to try it). Needless to say I don't give any more stuff to my mom. If she asks, I tell her I don't have any.

I noticed that my family doesnt want my soaps becuase they still have enough from christmas..... like the stuff was cheap to make HA!

It is an MLM. Their lotion looks commercially filled and processed. This blurb made me lol.
"We use natural enzymes and gently moisturizing vitamin E to preserve the life and look of our fun pampering products"
Yeah, right....

Aren't these companies so much fun? I have a dil who just loves to shop at that b&b store in every mall, but THREW out a bar of my soap because my Son left it sit in water and it got (too) wet???? Needless to say I don't give them anything any more!

I do have to say though, you can have a water based essential oil spritzer when you add an emulsifier and the dpg allows them to mix. HOWEVER I have never know vitamin E to preserve anything! Lol

I love how they state "after months of planning"... Months? I've been making soap and other products for 3 years and still haven't come up with the perfect product and haven't even fathomed marketing it. It's a get rich quick for the CEO scam.

and think of all the consultants that sign up to sell the products...they're going to tell their customers that the products are preserved with Vitamin E, and so on...

I didn't go there to read her stuff cuz I didn't want to bring her web ranking up any, but you all made me laugh when you repeated the "months" she has been planning. Gee, by all means then, after all those intense months I think we should cut her a break and bow to her superior wisdom...........she knows things in a few months that I haven't learned in 35 years. My bad!!

Gee Genny, I completely skipped over that fact! I read "water" in your comment and transferred it to the ingredient list......like one would expect to find. Yep, that is interesting for sure.
