I made my first batch of CP soap tonight! Yay! So far, it looks good. I did my best to clean everything up, but am curious how you do your post-soapmaking cleaning.

If I'm not in immediate need of the use of my bowls & tools, I let them sit overnight until everything turns to soap. Then I run hot water into everything, let soak for a bit, wash, rinse and it's clean.

If I need something right away, I use hot, hot water and a lot of DAWN dish detergent.

yah, if it can wait I leave it to do it's soapy thing. SO much easier!!! I've got two big stainless bowls I use, and when I had to do a lot of soap each session, I'd make the "lightest" soaps first, use a spatula to get 99% of the residue out, soap again, and do things with additives like oatmeal, loofah last.

Spoons...measuring cups...have a ton of those, so that kinda piles up, lol.
