I love all the soaps on here - always so inspirational! Love the American flag soaps - perfect idea for 4th of July coming up!

Wanted to share a pic of tonight's rainy Friday night project, a gift for my little sister who just graduated high school. (I also tried some sugar scrubs but they didn't go so well & aren't really photo-worthy!)

The layers are oatmeal m&p base with kaolin clay, colored with coral mica, and aloe m&P base colored with activated charcoal and glitter (you can't really see the glitter but it looks cool!) A bit of oatmeal stirred into the top layer for texture... I knew the clay may clump with the mica so I kind of embraced it for a "dessert" look. I went with soapy clean fragrance. I was proud of myself for being patient enough on the layers this time, but I need to get a real loaf mold so the bars are a more normal shape. It was fun though!

Those turned out really gorgeous ^_^ The opaque pink with the clear, sparkly black, looks great!

It's been forever since I have posted here since I have been working on CP soap. I have been busy with MP getting ready for the Farmer's Market. Here's what I have done so far:

Bug Soap (has a bug toy in everyone) Scented with Clean Linen


Cedarwood and Orange Tattoo Soap

Unscented used a star cookie cutter to cut this up and embed in my Patriotic Soap

Scented with fresh cut grass

Lemon and Matcha Tea w/ dried lemon peel

Rubber Ducky Soap scented with Coconut Lemongrass

Unscented embedded in my Crabby but Clean soap

Crabby but Clean scented with Tropical Vacation

Whew! I went through 20lbs of soap making all of those. It was so much fun!
