Finally, I was able to resoap using cedar and saffron and Magic's and Justkates suggestions for CPOP and color. My first trial and error was to order bordeaux "glitter" mica and brush onthe top of the soap just warm from the oven. Appropriately, it was Halloween, and my soap looked like it ws ready for the local parade.
.After reordering regular bordeaux and brown oxide, I turned out some acceptable soap. I trimmed away the original glitter tops; so now I have 4 batches including the original drab lavender. I must say they all smell good; and now that I've tried regular bordeaux mica as an accent, I plan to add it as red highlight elsewhere. Thanks for all the good tips. The scent was too good to give up on.
