I had some olive oil i wanted to use up so I decided to try a 100% OO LS. I did SF at 3% like I do my other liquid soaps but my paste is just a giant blob and not "jelly like" like my other pastes. Also I know with SF LS you run the chance of it being cloudy but even my liquid shea soap is clearer than this. Whats going on??????

That's pretty much what my 100% OO soap looked like. It took FOREVER to get it thinned out! :lol:

How long before you gave up and started to dilute? I'm doing a single oil right now and it's been cooking since around 6, no sign of gel yet either.

Mine went to the applesauce stage within 2 hours in a crockpot. It didn't zap when I checked it.

Mine went to applesauce in less than an hour. It's now a blob like the first pix. Didn't test for zap yet

Recipes high in olive oil can use a higher dilution rate.

Mine didn't zap when I went to bed, so I turned it off. I just started to dilute. I'll start another thread later.
