I ordered some mica and charcoal from BB for a project to surprise hubby with. I read that activated charcoal will eat the fragrance I'm using. Not sure how true it was or not. And also how much of each PPO should be used?
Charcoal I read at 2 tbs PPO but that seemed really high to me.

I've never had a problem with AC and my FOs. That does sound like a lot! I've just eyeballed it until I got a nice black color I was going for, but in a 3lb soap, I maybe use 3 tsps, a little goes a long way!

It came out nice, I would have liked to see it a bit darker, next time I think I'll use pigment for the black. But ever batch is a lesson learned.
