Hm, those are tricky! I'd put them in a cellophane bag individually and tied w/ ribbon. And then when you ship them just be sure to surround them with plenty of packing peanuts. I do some odd shaped soaps that way and so far no complaints of damage.

maybe take an old cardboard box and cut out a circle base slightly bigger than the tentacles? Then you could set it on top of it and bag them. Get a little more stability
