Living in Alaska and having a husband that is a trapper I have access to mink fat that I can render down for oil. I want to utilize this by-product of trapping and add the oil to my soaps. It has great conditioning properties. My question is at what ratio would you guys use the mink? I have searched around the web and all I can find on mink oil soap is the price of $20 per bar.

Unless you can find a recipe from someone else, I would try it at 5% in a standard olive/coconut/palm recipe (or any other that you thing works well). Question is: what's the SAP value?

Soapcalc (http://www.soapcalc.net/calc/SoapCalcWP.asp) has mink oil in their list of oils so you should be able to play around with different percentages to get the qualities you want. You're very fortunate to have a supply of the oil! :mrgreen:
