So for Xmas my husband got me 2 HDPE log molds. I have only used wooden before. Any tips on the best way to unmold my soap? I know they create a vapor lock so I was wondering if anyone had any tips that work good for you. Thanks!

Try freezing it, then run either warm water or a hair dryer over the outside. I use sodium lactate for easier unmolding.

I made 2 batches earlier using the new log molds and I did use sodium lactate in my batches today. I was thinking that freezing would help the soap come out. I freeze the soap in my column mold to help it slide out. Thanks Irena!

Yeah. I only partially lined them. The seller you makes the molds suggested to use a slip liner. I figured I would give that a try too.
