I given a friend a few samples of my soaps to test out and have feedback on. She's been using the soaps to wash and recommended more moisturizer in the soaps. What or how do I make soaps to have more moisturizer.

Soap is not a moisturizer. It's not meant to be. It's meant to wash off dirt and grime. You can superfat the soap a bit more so it's not drying, but it will not replace any good moisturizer that stays on the skin and doesn't get washed off.

Does she mean it's too drying? As Soapbuddy said, a soap is not a moisturiser, but if it's leaving her skin dry, then perhaps you could tweak your recipe to be less drying...

What is your recipe?
What's your SF %?

20% of shea butter should result in a soap with high conditioning properties, but lacking somewhat in bubbles - more of a flat creamy lather. I use 30% coconut oil in our soaps and never had a problem with dryness.

hmmm, personally preference on the percentage usages of shea butter. I'll keep experimenting.
