I have been making alot of cheese lately and get large quantities of whey. It's supposed to be full of nutrients to drink, so I was wondering...can you substitute whey for the water in cp soap?

Has anyone tried this?

Thanks,
Shelia

Yes, you can. Just treat it as milk. In other words, you'll want to freeze it to the "icy slush" stage or more, before adding lye to it, and add more chunks of this plus more chunks of lye whenever you see it starting to darken in color. Don't try to gel it, either, or you'll burn the milk and turn it all orange.

Thanks Ipstenit. I thought so, but it never hurts to ask.
