Teach Soap

I have been using herbs and such to top off a few of my soap loafs and wonder what else would be good to use. I don't put stuff on all the bars, just a few that I like to keep natural with no colors and EO to fragrance. I was thinking about glitter(not that its really 'natural' but it would add eye appeal), because its only such a tiny amount...does its really need to be 'skin safe'. Anyone have any other ideas to decorate my tops, other than design itself in the soap!

I use non-toxic glitter on some of my soaps. I would definitely make sure it states non-toxic. What if the glitter had lead paint in it or something? Who knows if it doesn't claim non-toxicity -- I don't want to take that chance.

I've had glitter last on the top of a bar in the shower for a week! I wouldn't use anything other that skin safe. I'm sure there is some FDA rule about it too, I think I read somewhere that it must be cosmetic grade.
