Since I destroyed my first batch of liquid soap, I kind of also messed up my FO plan.

I bought the BB Liquid Soap Guru kit and it came with Beach Breezes FO which is a little too perfume-y for my tastes. I had planned on making half the batch at first and using the Beach Breezes since it's supposed to behave well. Then on my second batch I was going to try one of my other FO's.

I also have Almond & Honey, and French Vanilla from Wholesale Supplies Plus. Does anyone know how they behave? I did use the Almond & Honey in my CP batch and it didn't seize or accelerate.

Thanks!

Unfortunately it is not really possible to tell whether it will be clear or cloudy until you test.
For instance, I tested around a dozen different FOs when I was developing a sulphate-free shampoo, and only three of them were really OK for a clear shampoo.

Thanks! I was hoping someone had tried them. I'm planning on using the soap for me so I can live with non-clear issues for now.

I'll let you know how it turns out :)

Try a cherry fragrance if you have one. That was my easiest of all. And really popular.
Orange worked well; it thickened the hand soap (please note, my soap is a synthetic blend so your mileage may vary!)
Almond worked well.

Mango, mango butter, watermelon & kiwi, red fruits, were poor.
Chocolate was a disaster. Thins, and not a convincing aroma IMO.

I think the almond & honey should be a good bet due to its good behavior in CP and I also found almond easy to use.

I'm just starting on this obsession so I don't have many FOs (though my bf thought otherwise when I pulled all the bottles out for him to sniff last night!).

I have Sweetgrass too, bought it in hopes he'd like it and he seems to.

I have some EO's as well, Tea Tree, Orange and Peppermint. They don't act the same as FO's though, do they?
