Thank you for the complement on the swirls. I have done swirls in the past with a couple of colors but they didn't turn out that great. Lately it seems as though my batter would get so thick and there was not possible way it would swirl. I adjusted my recipe and viola! I am still working on it though. As for the whiteness, it was just oils. I used olive, coconut, a little bit of avocado, and a tich of shea butter. I really figured it would be more yellow because my olive is pretty dark but it didn't.

Thanks! I was really suprised but I love it. And the bonus is they smell soooo goood!! I can't wait until they are cured and I can take one in the shower with me. I am naming it the Mattison. I made it for my friends baby and that's her name.

This one is a Blend of 10x Orange Essential Oil, 5x Tangerine Essential Oil, & Patchouli Essential Oil. I can't really stand the smell of Patchouli anymore since my sister-in-law ruined it for my by wearing WAY to much but this soap actually smells really good.

I got whispy like swirls on the top of every bar like this. I really like the way they look.

Funny story, kind of. I almost suffocated from some chick wearing wayyyy too much patchouli oil at the University I went to. I went blue, grasped the front desk (at the library) and started to lose consciousness! NO ONE came to help!! My Mom had to almost literally drag me to the hall and force my inhaler into my mouth. And yet I still love patchouli. LOL No idea why that particular patchouli gave me such a bad allergic reaction! It must have been mixed with sandalwood or something.
